It's been a joy to watch her grow. She loves playing with her little brother, Deacon, and it's funny to watch her teach him things too. A funny thing she does now is translate for him. He'll jabber on and Mae will say, "I think he wants hot chocolate?" Nice try sister.
I'm so thankful for Mae and the smart little gal that she is. As parents, we're reminded to always 'be on our toes' and seek God continually for discernment in raising our little ones. And what a reward it is.

Happy Birthday Mae baby!
::Mae waking Tod up to go get donuts::
"You're not awake. You got to get up because I can't drive. I'm too little."
::Mae talking in jibberish::
Tod: That doesn't make any sense.
Mae: Why don't you have any cents?
Mae to me: Mommy, can you go get daddy some cents? They're on his dresser.
