What Does A Cow Say?

Maevri has come a long way in how she acts and what she says.  I found this video of her at about four months.  Her high scream may distort your speaker's sound!

It's so fascinating to see how fast she is growing up. She was wearing her backpack the other day, and my mind fast-forwarded to her high school days.  It was scary.  She has always been pretty quiet and has understood more than she could ever say, but recently, she has become a twenty month old, professional chatter box.

Some things she says:
mommy, daddy, Deacy, pa, papa
muk (milk)
peas (please)
nana (banana)
gup (grape)
bok bok (chicken)
wawa (water)
frog, dog, cow
sad day
socks, shoes
Elmo, Abby, Cookie, Bird (Yes, she recognizes the Sesame Street characters...)

She counts some numbers, roars and makes any other animal sound on command.  If you ask her to say "fox" or "frog," you will get a four letter cuss word.  She repeats us now too, so Tod and I can't really use "sucka" anymore.

The following video is of Mae and her bestie, Sadie.  They are so fun to watch together!
What Does a Cow Say?

Raising our kids has been one of the most rewarding jobs.  Some days are difficult and my patience may waver, but I'm constantly challenged to rely on God for love, joy, and patience. (Insert Fruits of the Spirit song here.) Hope you enjoy the videos!
